The STAPAW movement believes having ink and piercings isn’t unprofessional. What is unprofessional is turning down an employee due to superficial reasons and not their skill level or experience. Volunteering
Sign up for volunteering in America or internationally to help raise awareness for the Support Tattoos and Piercings at Work cause. Browse a wide range of volunteer opportunities from social media work to volunteering at events, writing blog posts, press releases, graphic design work, and gathering petition signatures.
You don't have to have tattoos or piercings if you're volunteering, in fact 30% of our volunteers don't!
Sign Petitions
Browse downloadable or internet petitions and sign petitions to stop tattoo discrimination. Find facts and stats about the affects of tattoos and piercings in the workplace. Also, read about common stereotypes and misconceptions. Help us spread awareness and sign petitions and then print off more to help get signatures. You send in signed copies and we'll bring the petitions to the businesses.
