STAPAW encourages the non-tattooed and non-pierced community to base opinions of the individual on their merit, and not presuppositions. STAPAW is a movement of consumers who are stating we don’t mind purchasing products or services from businesses that hire tattooed or pierced employees...in fact we support it!

Having employees with tattoos and piercings in the workplace does not scare away customers. Over 40% of American adults have a tattoo, and 60% of American adults have piercings. Tattoos and piercings are no longer unprofessional. At the end of the day, businesses benefit from having the most highly qualified, trained, educated, and experienced staff. If that staff happens to have tattoos or piercings, it might be time to hire the “best thing” for your business.
